Take food and beverage orders over telephone or intercom system records order on ticket. Record order time received on ticket for making sure prompt service, using time-stamping device. Suggest menu items and substitutions for items not available and answers questions regarding food or service. Distribute order tickets or calls out order to kitchen employees. Collect charge vouchers and cash for service keep record of transactions.
