Basic Job Responsibilities of Orchard Manager Employees
Direct coordinates, through subordinate supervisory personnel, orchard activities, like orchard development, irrigation, chemical application and harvesting for making sure that company production goals are met. Evaluate oral & written reports and observes operations to monitor progress of work and to detect resolve problems. Determine authorizes alternative procedures to accommodate variables, like weather conditions, water supply, stage of crop or tree development, and new legislation. Coordinate orchard department activities with those of engineering, equipment maintenance, packing house, and other related departments. Analyze financial statements makes budget proposals. Initiate personnel actions, interpret company policy, and enforce safety regulations.
