Job Responsibilities

Main job duties of 'calcination apparatus technician' include: Conducts the process of calcination of catalysts, silica gel carrier and other products in electric furnaces and mine type furnaces; Conducts the process of calcination of salts or coal in muffles or retorts in chemical and pharmaceutical industry; Receives and prepares raw materials and intermediates, loads in furnace, calcines, washes, regulates fuel supply; unloads the finished product; cools and prepacks, transfers to another technological operation; Controls the calcination temperature and monitors the wash water; Determines the degree of calcination by the color of calcined products or by the results of analyzes; Uses starting, braking and regulating devices; Troubleshoot equipment and communications; Prepares the equipment for repair, accepts from repair; Keeps records of raw materials and finished products.

Job Requirements

Structure, principle of operation of main and auxiliary equipment, control and measuring devices; Scheme of fittings and communications; Physicochemical properties of carrier, catalysts, powders, methane-hydrogen fraction; Product requirements; Essence and rules of regulation of technological process; Parameters of technological mode; Rules for handing over equipment for repair and acceptance for repair.
