Operates a hoist mounted on a suspended beam and provided with a motor, activating the lifting and translation commands, to allow the movement of different loads
Job Responsibilities
Main job duties of 'electric hoist operator' include: Operates the lifting mechanism, manipulating the controls for raising or lowering the cable, to enable loading or unloading of material; Loads the hoist, hooking the hook on part to be moved, to enable transport; Operates the translation mechanism, activating the displacement and stop commands of engine, to position the hoist in loading or unloading location.
