Position Summary:

1) Studies size, shape, and gravitational field of earth.

2) Employs surveying and geodetic instruments, like transits, theodolites and other engineering instruments, in setting up improving network of triangulation over earths surface, in order to provide fixed points for use in making maps.

3) Establishes bench marks known points of elevation .

4) Performs gravimetric surveying to determine variations in earths gravitational field, and provides data used in determination of weight, size, and mass of earth..

  • Manage own time and the time of others.
  • Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, organization rules, and the democratic political process.
