Civil Structural Engineer Job Description

Position Summary:

1) Provide review oversight of architect engineering ae design activities associated with performing modifications to the plant.

2) Prepare plant modifications, calculations and associated documents, perform design verification, conduct owners review and other activities associated with performing modifications to the station.

3) Prepare technical scope of work, correspondence and documentation that support effective design, development and implementation of engineering changes.

4) Ensure accomplishment of team goals through effective design, development, and implementation of engineering change projects.

5) Effectively interface with nuclear station staff management to make sure successful design, development, and implementation of engineering changes.

Minimum skills required:

• Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Manage own time and the time of others.
• Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, organization rules, and the democratic political process.
• Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
