1) Lead a comprehensive assessment, evaluation and re-engineering of the applications, systems, processes, procedures, budget and staffing for the information technology activities of the company with an eye to managing cost while increasing service levels operational impact.

2) Manage and define all strategic it initiatives company-wide including an it applications portfolio, it infrastructure, network & telecommunications and a program project management function.

3) Decouple complex & interdependent systems and processes in order to scale for growth, eliminate inefficiencies lower costs.

4) Lead the it steering committee that oversees an ongoing business it planning process including budgeting and forecasting that is inclusive, participative, collaborative comprehensive.

5) Develop methods and standards that are effective in highlighting variances, trends and opportunities for applications, infrastructure, it service level improvement spend management; in short, run it as a business.

6) Serve as a counselor to and catalyst for other senior executives in identifying new areas for technology improvement like ways to lever software as a services, cloud computing, big data and business intelligence/analytics, resulting in operational efficiencies, increased productivity and profitable use of evolving information systems communications technologies.

7) Define, implement and monitor it performance metrics, best practices continual improvement.

8) Define forward looking architecture that enables both high performance but also the ability for the company to grow scale.

9) Collaborate with other members of the leadership team to assure timely, accurate and useful financial and management reporting used both internally externally.

10) Deliver it cost improvement opportunities and it-roi; assures delivery of projects on budget on schedule against aggressive targets.

11) Meet all regulations in regards to it systems.

12) Align it risk management with enterprise risk management.

13) Manage maintain the integrity of all data that the company is required to retain.

14) Design, lead and constantly enhance a comprehensive information security program, holistic information retrieval retention practices, and the internal controls necessary to assure successful it audit outcomes.
