Position Summary:

1) Coordinates, through subordinates, activities of workers engaged in constructing repairing railroad freight cars.

2) Reviews plans for construction of new cars and reports of cars requiring repairs confers with subordinate department supervisors to estimate time, supplies, human resources and equipment required to complete work.
