1) Sets up and controls operation of computerized deburring tooling machine to perform series of machining operations, like drilling, chamfering, and deburring, on ball-shaped plastic typing element for use in electric typewriters.

2) Reads blueprints, job order and tooling instructions to define cutting tools sequence of operations.

3) Positions & secures deburring cutting tools onto holding fixtures of machine, using handtools.

4) Loads plastic elements into feed mechanism of machine.

5) Depresses switch to actuate machine and observes machining operation to detect feeding tooling malfunctions as typing element is automatically fed through series of tooling stations.

6) Adjusts changes machine tools to make sure deburring meets company specifications.
