Position Summary:

1) Inspects viscous plastics material in plate glass molds cells removes defects preparatory to curing.

2) Examines material through glass sheet to detect defects, like air bubbles, dirt particles and other foreign matter.

3) Stands cell on end to elevate bubbles to surface & inserts spatula between molds to remove bubbles foreign matter from edges.

4) Inserts metal clip into mold, using spatula, and maneuvers clip, using magnet to remove defects from body of cell.

5) May weigh cell on floor scale..

Minimum skills required:

  • Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Manage own time and the time of others.
  • Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, organization rules, and the democratic political process.
