The Meaing of Mindset

Mindset is the English word stands for your belief about intelligence and qualities. This belief impacts your thoughts, feelings, and behavior.
The founder of mindset theory is Carol Dweck. She distinguishes among the fixed mindset and growth mindset:

- Fixed Mindset: Someone with a fixed mindset assumes that your intelligence and qualities are fixed. This makes him want to appear smart. This has negative consequences for, between another things: learning, performance, taking on challenges, commitment and dealing with criticism.
- Growth mindset: Someone with a growth mindset assumes that you can further develop your intelligence and qualities. You can grow by trying, persevering and practicing.
