The Meaing of BoilingBoiling is the transition from the liquid state to vapor state over the entire mass of liquid. It varies from evaporation which instead takes place only on surface of liquid. Boiling happens when the vapor pressure of liquid equals the pressure. When the temperature reaches the boiling point, gas bubbles start to form inside the liquid mass in liquid and suddenly rise to surface. The gas that forms during boiling thickens in clusters called bubbles, hence the name of phenomenon. During the boiling phase, the substance absorbs heat to overcome the attraction force of atoms and molecules. For this reason the temperature of substance remains constant throughout the boiling process, until all the liquid mass has evaporated. At the end of boiling process, the temperature of environment in which the liquid was found rises again.
