The Meaing of Discreet Environment
A discrete environment is a form of operating environment in which the states of environment, space or time are non-continuous variables 'discrete variables' belonging to a finite set of states. For example, the space of table used in game of chess 'chessboard' is a discrete space since it is delimited in a finite number of rows, columns and squares. Other example of a discrete environment is a hourly atmospheric temperature detection system as data is not recorded continuously but only every hour. In general, the discrete environment is the product of a model of simplification or discretization of reality.
