Job duties and responsibilities - are to:

1) Sets up adjusts photographic print developing equipment according to density, color, and also size of prints

2) Position film in densitometer, reads dials plus records findings on plot sheet to locate defects in density color balance

3) Confer with Supervisor, Quality Control photofinishing for defining adjustments required to bring print machine into balance

4) Runs test film strip through print machine to evaluate machine exposure

5) Remove cover from control panel of print machine to gain access to control shafts adjustment knobs, using wrench

6) Plug electric timer into printer to define time elapsed during printing operation

7) Start equipment, observes timer, and also adjusts shafts knobs to attain specified process settings, using handtools

8) Lock control shafts of printer into position subsequent to final adjustment to prevent shifting in color or density balance during printing

9) Keep record of adjustments made for departmental use
