Job duties and responsibilities - are to:

1) Record numerical data to keep financial records complete

2) Ensure appropriate processes approvals are adhered to

3) Maintain accurate records, both electronic manual

4) Maintain service vendor files

5) Perform basic data compilation tasks

6) Perform calculating, posting verifying duties to maintain accounting records

7) Check accuracy of figures, calculations posting pertaining to transactions recorded by other workers

8) Review invoices; this includes checking requests; sorting, coding matching invoices

9) Set invoices up for payment

10) Enter invoices into system

11) Track expenses process expense reports

12) Process electronic transfers payments

13) Perform check runs

14) Post transactions to journals, ledgers other records

15) Reconcile accounts payable transactions

16) Prepare analysis of accounts

17) Monitor accounts to make sure payments are up to date

18) Resolve invoice discrepancies issues

19) Maintain vendor files

20) Correspond with vendors respond to inquiries

21) Produce monthly reports

22) Assist with month end closing
