What is a Job Cover Letter?

A cover letter is the letter you send with your application, resume, and any other support material that the school has specified. Think of the cover letter as the first impression a potential employer has of you. This is a general impression as opposed to the detailed, data-based impression that your resume will give.

How do you write a cover letter?
