7) Spread dropcloths over floors and room furnishings, and covers surfaces, like baseboards, door frames, and windows with masking tape paper to protect surfaces during painting

8) Paint surfaces, using brushes, spray gun, or paint rollers

9) Simulate wood grain, marble, brick, or tile effects

10) Apply paint with cloth, brush, sponge, or fingers to create special effects

11) Erect scaffolding or sets up ladders to perform tasks above ground level

12) May be designated according to type of work performed as Painter, Interior Finish ; Painter, Maintenance any industry ; or according to type of material used as Calciminer ; Varnisher

13) May also hang wallpaper fabrics [Paperhanger 841.381-010]

14) May wash surfaces prior to painting with mildew remover, using brush.
