8) Mount parts in holding fixtures and bonds parts together, using welding and brazing techniques equipment

9) Fill bases or top caps of designated tubes with adhesive and attaches bases or caps to glass bulbs metal shells

10) Place assembled tube in equipment to remove impurities, create vacuum, and seal tube

11) Stamp and etches identifying information on tube tube parts, using printing or etching equipment

12) Polish designated parts assemblies, using buffing wheel

13) Tend ovens that cure adhesives, inks, and coatings

14) Assemble parts for cathodes, using microscope

15) Test and inspects parts assemblies for conformance to specifications, using test equipment, precision measuring instruments, and microscope

16) Tend electronic ageing equipment that stabilize electrical characteristics of tubes
