3) Review correlating data, like gas quality, pressure & temperature with variables affecting consumer demand, like weather conditions time of day to forecast load adjustments

4) Adjust controls to regulate gas flow pressure through system or telephones Gas-Compressor Operator any industry to increase or decrease pressure in pipelines according to forecast

5) Direct Gas-Pumping-Station Operator utilities to pump gas from holding station into distribution system and return according to supply demand

6) Inform station personnel to regulate flow of gas from wells into system to maintain specified pressure volume in pipelines

7) Record data, like gas pressure volume from outlying stations

8) Observe colorimeter to detect deviations in mixture of natural gas with manufactured gas according to specified Btu rating

9) Notify mixing station personnel when deviations occur

10) May discontinue gas service to specified areas when emergencies or gas shortages exist.
