Madrid residents, also known as Madrileños, pay between 24.75 and 52 percent tax on their income. You must ensure that the tax refund is submitted to the Spanish authorities every year between 3 May and 30 June. Once your NIF application has been arranged, your employer will be held responsible for withholding the provisional tax and social benefits.
