A Work introduction letter, commonly known as "cover letter" is your business card and the ideal format to highlight a series of personal and professional aspects, which you cannot include in detail in your resume. In it, you must clarify what are the motivations you have to present yourself to that selection of personnel and, above all, why you are the person that the company is looking for.

In other words, this document is an excellent opportunity to make clear your enthusiasm for performing the functions of the position they offer just in your business or company.

It's about showing your human side, since your more professional and academic side makes it clear in the curriculum. As you will understand, your future work may depend on its perfect writing.

It is more practical to include it in this document and not in the curriculum. It is important to offer several ways to contact you, as well as your full name. The rest of the data, if applicable, will already be requested by the company.

Presentation to the person in charge of personnel selection

This writing should be addressed to someone. If this information is ignored, this step should not be ignored. It is essential to include the formula "For the attention of the Director of Human Resources" or the classic "Dear Sir".

Explanation of your reasons to apply

It is the strong point and where you should take maximum care of your style. It is important that you discuss your knowledge in the sector of the company in which you want to work, as well as what you can contribute.

If you are responding to an ad, you must mention it or, otherwise, don't hesitate to use originality to be fixed in your proposal.

Comment of your knowledge

It is not about repeating what they will read in the curriculum, but about emphasizing your virtues and, above all, focusing on those knowledge that you handle with greater ease. Do not hesitate to indicate what your experience is and what type of position you are interested in.

Of course, don't close doors, be different, don't abandon the formality and bet to show yourself as a flexible worker that can adapt to all kinds of situations.
