Professional resume: the recruiter's analysis

Your resume must be attractive and relevant, it will trace faithfully your personal and professional path, which will make the recruiter want to meet you:

Know that a recruiter takes about 30 seconds to read a resume, "diagonal".

Then it will check very quickly if your profile matches the one sought and the requirements required by the company.

To pass this first course, you'll give the reader points of reference by having a clear and neat presentation.

Step two, the recruiter will analyze it in more detail. To do this, your resume will be synthetic while being precise and positive.

The main purpose being to be called for the job interview.

How to write a professional resume?

Your resume should be carefully prepared, that's to say, it should reflect a number of personal and professional points concerning you:

  • what you are: civil status;
  • what you did: professional experience;
  • what you have learned: training;
  • what you're able to do: your skills, your evolution and your future projects.

The professional resume will be relevant. Don't hesitate to spend time and energy on the writing of your resume (a day or two if necessary).

Make a complete assessment:

  • your skills;
  • professional experiences acquired during your professional career;
  • educational and vocational training.

Don't overlook a business. Avoid "holes" in your career, recruiters don't like it and that doesn't inspire confidence.

If you have holes in your resume, justify them intelligently, you haven't remained inactive during this period, you're still very busy (training, community, thinking about starting a business, etc.).

Detail each experience:

  • your mission;
  • The obtained results;
  • strengths and weaknesses.
