Offer letter and appointment letter, both are part of the recruitment cycle. A company hires new employees and this process includes a series of tasks for the hiring cycle. The offer letter and the appointment letter are two important letters in the context of the final stages of recruiting.

If a candidate successfully clears all rounds of interviews and meets the criteria determined for a potential candidate, then they are considered a suitable candidate for the company. Now, when you have completed all the necessary rounds and have proven your suitability, the company officially provides you with a letter, and this letter is known as an offer letter. As it's called, an offer letter is an offer that is made on behalf of the company to the candidate. The offer letter contains all the necessary details related to the job that the company is offering to this candidate.

It can also include details such as various medical plans or benefits that the company offers. On the other hand, a quotation letter indicates the next step after the offer letter. If the candidate is satisfied with the offer, and all the documents provided by the candidate are verified successfully, the company finally issues an appointment letter. This letter can be described as an assurance from the company that the company is now hiring the candidate. In this letter, information similar to the offer letter is provided and if any negotiations or changes have been made, the new agreed terms are also mentioned in this letter.

The main difference between them is that an appointment letter is always preceded by an offer letter. The offer letter is only a description of the offer made by the company, while the appointment letter is proof that the company finally hired the candidate.
