When you perform the hiring duties of a company, you'll want to create a good job offer letter template "blank proposal" that's ready to use once needed. This letter serves as a written document on your intention to hire the selected candidate. Also you want to personalize each job offer letter, you can base each one around the following general guidelines.

Instructions:

  • 1. Use a professional letter template. You can find these in any word processor, including Microsoft Word. Fill in the date, name and address as formatted in the template.
  • 2. Open with your intention to hire the candidate. Clearly state the name of your business and the title of the position you're offering that person. After the title of the position, you should state the tasks the person will complete while holding this job.
  • 3. Spell out the salary and benefits package. You need to provide an exact pay number in the body of a job offer letter.
  • 4. Provide information on benefits package including insurance, stock options and retirement plans.
  • 5. Finish with a space for the person to sign. You want the candidate to sign the job offer letter and return it to you for his HR file. You should also sign and date the letter.
