On the other hand, it enables the integration of the related technical parameters in such a way that the program and functional interfaces are compatible and the operation of the total system is guaranteed.

When carrying out its work, the specialist in this field must ensure that the system complies with the principles of reliability, maintainability, safety and efficiency, among others.

In addition to the above, we can't ignore the fact that every professional in the systems engineering sector is working taking into account three fundamental disciplines or pillars. Thus, for example, there is the so-called cognitive systems engineering that revolves around issues such as artificial intelligence, ergonomics, programmer management or the information process through human or non-human entities.

In the same way, systems engineering is also closely related to operations research and so-called information systems, that is, the elements that work and work together with the clear objective of being able to help the tasks and activities of a business. More specifically, they contribute to supporting these actions through the entry, storage, processing and subsequent release of information.

Three pillars are those that also become central axes of another discipline that's called engineering in computer systems, which is responsible for thoroughly analyzing the existing reality to be able to carry out the development and installation of complex computer systems later That are very useful.

The systems engineer takes care of the different stages of a project linked to the systems. In this way, it analyzes the economic performance, the effectiveness of human resources and the technological use linked to their creations.

Specifically, the systems engineer can devote himself to the development and implementation of complex networks, to the programming of computer applications and to database management, for example.
