Today we find a whole series of theories for the improvement of production and work in companies and companies. Depending on the type of each, according to their tasks, according to the equipment they have or the number of workers and many other factors, one or the other is chosen. Many of these theories are more general and can be used for more purposes and companies. Others offer a varied catalog to reach more people and customers. As a whole, they are what we call methodologies. There are many, but they aren't all the same and some may have greater advantages and benefits depending on the type of company or the objectives it has and for which it wants to apply one methodology or another. Among all those that exist, today we will talk about Scrum Agile and what it has to offer professionals and companies.

Next, we will answer the question we posed in the title. We will see what this methodology is, what it has to offer and what characteristics define it. Also to what audience is it intended and in what type of projects is it used or for which is it more recommended? That's why there are several Scrum Agile courses.

What is Scrum Agile Methodology

As we have seen before, it's a methodology for the development of projects and certain types of work in companies and corporate groups. Not necessarily for the whole company, but for a smaller group of workers who are in charge of a specific task. This methodology focuses on the agile development of software, that is, the creation of applications and computer programs or the development of operating systems and this type of work in companies. And what it does is offer a much simpler way of working together for a more satisfactory result for all, of higher quality and with a reduced number of errors at the minimum power.

Thanks to this methodology and its application, the result is of higher quality. It's a highly recommended and advisable way, as well as demanded by companies, to work their software and complete the different tasks of their day to day. It provides the work teams with the necessary information at all times, includes in an adapted way the different steps to be treated, the elements of the development, the meetings for the evaluation of the content of the project during its development and a final review in order to deliver said project to the client, to the company or to the next department that'll continue working with him.

Thus, Scrum Agile has become an essential methodology for professionals working in the field of software development and seeking to accelerate processes without reducing the result or the quality of it.

Main features of Scrum Agile

As a good methodology, it's responsible for managing customer expectations and contrasting it with the anticipated results of the project in which it's working. Through flexibility and adaptation, guides and organizes the work to make it easier and easier for the members of that team. It also manages the productivity, the risks, the costs that we face both for specific tasks and for the total project, the equipment and the employees necessary for said work, the aforementioned quality and many other details to take into account, such as the client himself and his relationship with the company or the meetings we should have with him.

On the other hand, one of Scrum's characteristics is the use of self-directed and automatically organized equipment. As we say, it facilitates this type of work management a lot. And it also carries out the elements of devaluation, progress and the different daily meetings necessary to achieve the best possible result, without affecting the organization, the forecast, the desired dates or the objectives, except to benefit those elements.

Other aspects to consider and Scrum tasks

We should know that, among everything Scrum does for us, the following can be highlighted: First, it develops the project in a total and transversal way, starting with the requirements for it and the time available, looking for a way to structure each task, include the periodic evaluation and correction meetings and safeguarding possible failures in the work chain or in the plan that's being followed. It seeks to give priority and value to the voice of the client and his desires to achieve the satisfaction required by the most demanding companies, and achieves a total synchronization for a perfect performance of each step to complete in the organization.

In addition, it sets maximum times that the different team members will have to complete the objectives and fulfill their tasks, divide the groups into smaller teams that can be between three and nine people each, for a personalized and individual work that connects with The general. And, how could it be otherwise, it manages the leaders of small groups and the hierarchy for the necessary authority in every corporate work project.

Different roles in the Scrum methodology

In a methodology such as this to develop a software or carry out a computer project, we found a series of papers that are crucial when making the work possible and managing all these elements and these characteristics that we saw perfectly. Of course, each company has its operating mode even if it uses a methodology like this and we understand that the equipment can be very varied, but within Scrum Agile we find the following.

To start, we have the Product Owner, who is in charge of giving the team and the project a certain perspective, in order to function as a business and as a company. It seeks at all times that this purpose is useful and can be a success, based on the subject of customer satisfaction and user experience. Then we see the role of the ScrumMaster, also known as Facilitator, which is the task of deleting any type of defect or problem that we're going to find and thus facilitate the work of the teams. It's something like who guarantees security and clears the way for rapid and accurate development.

And then we would have the development team, which can be divided into small teams or one that doesn't have excess employees, for better coordination according to the objectives. And we would also have roles in charge of helping, supporting and assisting the previous ones. These can be sellers or those in charge of public relations, administrators, marketing, etc.

A recommended methodology

For all that we have commented, if by the flexibility to possible changes, the reduction of the cost and the risks, the perfect prediction of the times and the dates, the improvement in the productivity and in the development of the software, always looking for its good quality and its optimal result, we believe that it's a highly recommended methodology and that it's very successful to be inspired by it in the face of any software development. The rest is in the hands of creativity, ideas and the work environment.
