A Dental Assistant is managed by a dentist or dental specialist. A Dental Assistant is involved in the monitoring and treatment of patients. The activities include preparing treatments, assisting with treatments (such as providing instruments), preparing material for fillings and dental impressions, making and developing X-rays, dental cleaning, giving advice and explaining oral hygiene and cleaning the instruments.
