Bench Hand Occupation

Job Duties:

  • Assemble motorcycle bicycle subassemblies, using arbor press, drill press, grinder, riveter, or other power bench machines
  • Position clamps metal parts in bed of machines
  • Start machines to burr, grind, drill, or polish brake drum, clutch hub, shifter cam, or other subassembly parts, following standard procedures
  • Remove part from machine compares part with pattern
  • Bend tubular sections to specified shape, using handtools
