Acquisitions Librarian Occupation

Job Duties:

  • Select orders books, periodicals, films, and other materials for library
  • Review publishers announcements catalogs and compiles list of publications to be purchased

Job Duties:

Job Duties:

  • Drive vehicle to specified locations on predetermined schedule
  • Place books periodicals on shelves according to such groupings as subject matter, readers age grouping, or reading level
  • Stamp dates on library cards, files cards, and collects fines
  • Compile reports of mileage, number of books issued, and amount of fines collected
  • Drive vehicle to garage for repairs, like motor or transmission overhauls, and for preventive maintenance, like chassis lubrication oil change
