Roles and Responsibilities

My job duties were to:

1) Create update project plans, schedules for one or more projects using ms project

2) Develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans and allocation of available resources

3) Plan, direct & coordinate activities of project team to make sure project progresses on schedule within budget

4) Lead a wide variety of projects from technical/infrastructure upgrades to pure business process improvement initiatives

5) Provide leadership motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle

6) Manage oversee vendor relationships including 3rd party implementation and/or development teams

7) Provide weekly status reports to the senior management key project stakeholders

8) Prepare a variety of periodic and ad hoc reports for technical management and business groups and distribute project related data & documentation as appropriate including, project status reports, vendor information, sows, requirements documents, policies procedures documents

9) Perform business analysis process engineering activities on smaller projects

10) Ensure that all relevant project documentation is kept up to date

11) Manage business expectations, project issues, decisions risks, including escalation to sponsors. oversee all project activities on a day-to-day basis to make sure on-time completion of planned tasks

12) Communicate with both technical and non-technical users produce project documentation

13) Coordinate and facilitate meetings - regular ad-hoc

14) Lead a cross-functional, multi-sourced project team, that could have an off-shore development component

15) Adhere to project management standards guidelines using the project management framework

16) Work closely with pmo operations in building out project management best practices, standards, guidelines templates documentation
