Roles and Responsibilities

My job duties were to:

1) Supervise and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operation of preheat furnaces, catalytic reactors, quench stripper towers, absorbers, stabilizer, rerun continuous stills, and auxiliary equipment, like inert-gas generating system, condensers, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, and blowers to produce petrochemicals, like butadiene, styrene, butylene, and ethylbenzene

2) Train workers in operation of equipment

3) Coordinate operation of various units in system to make sure required production yields, referring to run sheets, test books, order books, logbooks and pumping records

4) Observe recording-instrument charts, flowmeters, and gauges to verify conformity of temperatures, pressures, flow rates, and liquid levels to process specifications

5) Correlate instrument readings test results to diagnose process malfunctions

6) Inspect equipment and cathodic-protection system to detect defects malfunctions

7) May be designated according to product as Butadiene Operator, Chief chemical, petrol

8) refin. , Ethylbenzene-Cracking Supervisor chemical, petrol

9) refin. , Isobutylene Operator, Chief chemical , Styrene Operator, Chief chemical, petrol

10) Perform other duties as described under Supervisor any industry Master Title.
