Roles and Responsibilities, My job duties were to:
1) Coordinate activities related to admission of patients in hospital or other medical facility.
2) Confer with physicians and nursing, housekeeping, transport and other staff members to coordinate schedule admission of patient.
3) Assign accommodations based on physicians admittance orders, patients preference, nature of illness, availability of space and other information and enters bed assignment information into computer.
4) Prepare records of admission, transfer, and other required data.
5) Notify departments of patients admission.
6) Review clerical work of interviewers other personnel.
7) Keep records of admissions discharges, and compiles occupancy-census data.
8) May interview patient or patients representative to obtain necessary personal financial data to define eligibility for admission.
9) May perform duties described under Supervisor clerical Master Title..
