This job description describes core job duties of business analyst occupation.

Main Job Roles / Career Tasks:

1) Responsible to identify and define the business needs technical solution to fulfill the requirements.

2) Responsible to create, maintain and communicate requirements, conduct analysis, coordinate the design of solutions establish metrics for success.

3) Write detailed requirements specifications, functional specifications technical design document, use cases, workflow charts, test plans and overall system roadmap artifacts.

4) Responsible for requirements traceability, user acceptance testing, results verification, defect resolutions overall release sign-off.

5) Provide support for users by writing maintaining user documentation.

6) Lead the end-user training effort during new system handover.

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Manage own time and the time of others.
  • Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, organization rules, and the democratic political process.
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
