This job description describes core job duties of biologist occupation.

Main Job Roles / Career Tasks:

1) Prepare biological reports like Memorandums to File, Natural Environment Studies, Biological Assessments, Biological Evaluations, and Wetland Delineations.

2) Evaluate projects with respect to related biological laws regulations for determining impacts to wetlands, endangered species and any other biological resources.

3) Perform field surveys for special status plant & animal species; preparing mitigation planning and monitoring reports; Field surveys include, but are not limited to walking transects, trapping, collecting specimens, digging soil pits additionally visually identifying plant animal species.

4) Direct teams responsible for preparation of biological studies to the standard necessary for state federal endangered species clearances.

5) Develop biological mitigation and monitoring reports that identify the methods monitoring strategies planned to accomplish the proposed mitigation.

6) Perform construction monitoring.

Minimum Skills Required:
