This job description describes core job duties of receiving clerk occupation.

Main Job Roles / Career Tasks:

1) Receive products supplies.

2) Verify counts of material parts received.

3) Responsible to label, bag & move material parts to production operations.

4) Responsible to store, update, collect retrieve information regarding Purchase Order verification, Stock-on-Hand, Vendor delivery dates, and other functions related to the Receiving Department.

5) Advise of material received.

6) Support to quality quality objectives, with an emphasis on continual improvement.

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Manage own time and the time of others.
  • Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, organization rules, and the democratic political process.
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
