Main Job Roles / Career Tasks:

1) Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of workers engaged in receiving, investigating, evaluating, and settling complaints claims of telegraph customers.

2) Directs workers to investigate complaints, like those concerning rates or service in connection with domestic, international, or special-gift telegrams.

3) Analyzes reports of findings & recommends response to complaint, considering nature complexity of complaint, requirements of governmental utility-regulation agencies and policies of company.

4) Reviews actions of subordinates to make sure settlements are made correctly.

5) Authorizes retention of data preparation of documents for use during governmental or customer inquiries..

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Manage own time and the time of others.
  • Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, organization rules, and the democratic political process.
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
