FUR OPERATOR

Duties And Responsibilities:
operates fur machine to join fur strips pelts into garment parts or garments, like collars, cuffs, linings, coats, and also capes. selects thread according to color, places spool on spindle plus draws thread through machine guides, tensions needle eye. inserts bobbin into shuttle & draws thread through guide looper eye. depresses pedal to open horizontal feed cups, aligns pelt edges positions them between cups, and also releases pedal to close cups against pelts. guides fur strips or pelts between feed cups as well as across horizontal needle to join fur strips or pelts to form garment parts or garment, following markings on pelts designers pattern. may cut slits in fur pelt to separate it into strips, using knife, to let out pelts...

BRIM FLANGER
